Jan M. (Eberhart) HeinzGosser, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully left this world on October 10, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on September 16, 1956, in Alton, Illinois, to her parents Wesley and Esther (Neunaber) Eberhart, Jan spent her early years in a nurturing environment that fostered her passion for life. She married Lloyd N. Gosser on April 29, 1995 and the two spent 31 beautiful years together.

Jan graduated from high school in 1973 and later earnestly pursued her education, obtaining a Bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to her role as a property manager, where her meticulous nature and perfectionist approach were evident. Jan's career spanned various housing complexes, leaving a positive impact on the communities she served.

A proud member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Martinsville, Jan was a beacon of kindness and compassion in her community. She found joy in crafting and readily embraced her love for animals, especially her cherished dogs. An avid dog show enthusiast, Jan's gentle spirit resonated with all who knew her.

Jan is survived by her devoted husband, Lloyd N. Gosser of Mooresville, as well as her two children, Jacob Heinz (Renee Phillips) of Bloomington and Joy B. Heinz of Indianapolis. Her legacy continues through her two grandchildren, Rayne Wallace and William Wallace. Jan's heart will be remembered by her siblings: four sisters, Beth Donley, Ann Forrest, Gail Smith, and Kay Karlas, and her brother, Mark Eberhart.

Jan is preceded in death by both her parents, whose love and guidance laid the foundation for the wonderful person she became.

To honor Jan's inspiring life and legacy, a memorial service will be held at the Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
