James White

James W. White, 78, Mooresville, IN, passed away June 18, 2010. He was born January 23, 1932 to Homer Chester White and Gladys (Talbot) McCarver in Detroit, Michigan. He was married in February of 1957 to Nell R. (Thompson) White. He was a 1950 graduate of Belle Union High School, and a member of Monrovia United Methodist Church. He worked briefly as a "Yellow Shirt" at the track, and was an Auto Worker for Allison's for 36 years. He retired in 1986. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife. He is survived by a son: James "Frank" White of Monrovia. The calling hours are from 5-7pm, Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Jones Family Mortuary with services at 7pm also on Sunday. He will be buried at Penney Cemetery, Hillsboro, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Monrovia United Methodist Church.
