James M. O'Banion, 75,of Quincy,died November 3, 2007. He was born on December 7, 1931 to the late John and Anna (Hannah) O'Banion in Grayson, KY. He married Sandra Kay (Joyce) O'Banion and she survives. Before retiring in 1987, he was a Supervisor for General Motors for 32 1/2 years in Indianapolis, IN. After retirement, he was a Truck Driver for Oliver Trucking in Indianapolis, IN, Driver for PRN Drug Company in Indianapolis and a Greeter for Walmart in Martinsville, IN. He attended Manna Mission in Martinsville, IN. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife: Sandra O'Banion of Quincy,IN; 4 Children: Judy Gagnon of Plainfield,IN, Pamela Jo Logan of Plainfield,IN, Tim O'Banion of Arizona and Tammi Hanson of Indianapolis, IN; 7 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren; 1 Sister: Emogene Davis of Grayson, KY. He is preceded in death by 2 Brothers: John & Paul O'Banion; 1 Sister: Edna O'Banion.
Visistation will be from 5-6pm, Tuesday, November 6, 2007 before the 6pm Funeral at Jones Family Mortuary. Tom Tackett will officiate the Funeral. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Manna Mission in Martinsville, IN.
