James Harold Jenkins, 63, of Indianapolis died Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, IN. James was born March 26, 1942 in Indianapolis, IN to the late James Herschell Jenkins and Elsie Ruth (Hire) Jenkins.
James lived most of his life in Camby, IN. He was a Decatur Central High School Graduate, he attended Lifeline Baptist Church in Camby, and before retiring in 1989, he was a Truck Driver for Pearlman-Rocque Co. in Greenfield, IN for 10 years.
He is survived by 3 children: Sheila Harmon of Martinsville, IN, Rick Jenkins of Mooresville, IN, Jimmy Jenkins of Mooresville, IN; 11 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; 7 Sisters: Hilda Baker of Indianapolis, IN, Kate Simpson of Mooresville, IN, Jean Carter of Indianapolis, IN, Peggy VanBlaricum of Indianapolis, IN, Carolyn Lathrop of Waverly, IN, Wanda Stout of Camby, IN and Sandy Rhudy of Camby, IN. He is preceded by 2 Brothers: Bill and Don Jenkins.
Visiting hours will be 5-8pm, Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville, IN. The funeral service will be at 10am, Thursday, January 19, 2006 with Lyman Taylor to officiate at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville, IN. Mr. Jenkins will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant at Glenns Valley cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
