James W. Jeannette

James W. "Jim" Jeannette, 77, of Mooresville, IN passed away peacefully on May 19, 2023. Jim was born in Bowling Green, KY on November 18, 1945 to the late Robert W. and Oma Lee (Bryant) Jeannette. Jim married Judith Kaye (Britt) Jeannette on June 7, 1978.

Jim was a sports enthusiast. He enjoyed golfing, basketball, swimming and softball. He also enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. Jim's favorite saying was, "Murphey's Law". Jim proudly served in the United States Army.

Jim is survived by his wife, Judith Kaye (Britt) Jeannette; two children: Tamara "Tammy" (Jeannette) Niman of Indianapolis and Brian James Jeannette of Denver, CO; two grandchildren: Ashley Prentice and Cody Hinkle; three great grandchildren: Mason, Mackalia and Peyton Prentice; three sisters: Brenda McClure (Phil), Yvonne Hale (Chris) and Charlotte Sepulveda (Mike).

Jim is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Scottie Jeannette.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 11-12 pm, Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. James Hollenbaugh will officiate the celebration of life service following the visitation at 12 pm at the Funeral Home. Military honors and burial will take place in West Newton Cemetery.
