James House

James Richard House, 87, of Mooresville, passed away on March 3, 2014. James was born to James Morton & Anna Corine (Robinson) House on Feb. 1, 1927 in Vincennes. James was a 1944 Lincoln High School Graduate and received his Bachelors Degree in Engineering from Purdue University. James was a Navy Veteran during World War II. James was a Salesman for Kittles in Indianapolis for 15 years, retiring in 2003. Previously, he was a Salesman for L.Fish in Indianapolis for 10 years and a Engineer for Zenith & General Electric for several years. He has lived most of his life in Indianapolis but also lived in Mooresville and his birthplace of Vincennes. He was a member of the Vincennes Knights of Columbus. James is survived by his daughter who cared for him in his later years, Beth (John) Wooding of Mooresville; his three grandchildren he was very proud of, Sean, Danielle and Evan and a sister, Martha Flannery of CA. James is preceded in death by his parents, James Morton and Anna Corine (Robinson) House and two sons, Dan & David House. Father John Schipp will officiate the 3 p.m. graveside service on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Vincennes, IN. Website & Online Condolences: www.jonesfamilymortuary.com
