James Curtis

James Curtis, 78, of Mooresville passed away February 11, 2006. He was born in Sharpsburg, KY on October 12, 1927 to the late Edward and Clara Ella Curtis. He was married to Irene Louise Curtis on April 3, 1944. He lived in Indianapolis for most of his life and in Jasonville for 10 years. For 34 years, James was a supervisor at Uniroyal Rubber Company and retired in 1978. He was also a member of the past Englewood Masonic Lodge. He graduated from Washington High School in 1966 and also attended the Indiana Central College in Indianapolis. He is survived by his wife, Louise; his son, Jeff and wife Jackie of Mooresville, IN; Daughters: Sharon and Husband James Sutton and Pamela and Husband Mike Dee all of Camby, IN.HE is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and his sister, Clorine Stanley of Mooresville, IN. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Robert Curtis. Calling hours will be 5-8, Tuesday, February 14, 2006 with the funeral starting at 10:30am at Jones Family Mortuary. George Watkins will be officiating the service. James will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery.
