James L. Archer

James L. Archer, 81, of Mooresville, passed away Tuesday, January 17th, 2023. He was born September 8th, 1941 in Indianapolis to his parents Ethal D. and Edna B. (Lake) Archer. He was a resident of Indianapolis for most of his life.

James is survived by his three siblings: Ronnie (Lina) Archer of Indianapolis, Diane (Tom) Peterson of Fairland, and David (Terri) Archer of Mooresville; and several nieces and nephews. James is preceded in death by both of his parents; two sisters: Donna Woodruff and Nancy Preston; and one brother, Marion D. Archer.

James was a Cook for Blue Ribbon in Indianapolis for over 30 years. He enjoyed camping and listening to music.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, January 27th for a visitation at Jones Family Mortuary. There are no services at this time. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
