Jack Myers Moore, 80, of Brooklyn, IN, passed away January 20, 2006. He was born May 5, 1925 to the late Algan and Marie (Myers) Moore. He lived in Castleton for 20 years. He was married in 1949 to Delores Jean (Argadine) Moore. Before retiring in 1996, he was a Curator for the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis, IN for 25 years. Previously, he was a Designer for J.C. Pennys for 5 years and also owned J.M.M. Design Sign Shop for 30 years. He was a member of the Brooklyn Christian Church and was a Past Master of the Brooklyn Masonic Lodge #471. Jack served in the armed forces in WWII. He graduated in 1944 from Greencastle High School and was also a graduate from Depaw College. He was preceded in death by his son John M. Moore. He is survived by his wife, Delores Jean Moore of Brooklyn, IN, and his son Jeffrey D. Moore of Mooresville. Calling hours will be 10am-12 noon January 24, 2006 at Jones Family Mortuary and the funeral service to begin at 12 noon. Bill Burkley will be officiating the service. Jack Moore will be laid to rest at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle, IN.
