Jack A. Carver, 84, of Cross Plains, Tennessee passed away on September 28, 2016. Jack was born to William Frank and Mary Ann (Minnick) Carver on September 1, 1932 in Bristol, TN. Jack is a United States Army Veteran. Jack married Linda (Brooks) Carver on September 14, 2016.
Jack was an Iron Worker for Ben Hur in Indianapolis for 43 years. He was a lifetime member of Iron Workers Union Local 22. He was a member of Mooresville American Legion #103. He lived in Mooresville for most of his life.
Jack is survived by his wife, Linda (Brooks) Carver of TN; four step children, Troy Blaydes, Michelle Donovan, Larry Lester, Mel Lester; five grandchildren; two brothers, Bob and Jim Carver; and a sister, Betty Crusenberry. Jack is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Louellia W. (Martin) Carver; eight brothers; and one sister.
Family and friends may gather from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2016 and 9-10 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2016 in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Jerry Koett and Brandon Donovan will officiate Jack's celebration of life service at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 3, 2016 in Jones Family Mortuary. Jack will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
