Hugh Park

Hugh B. Park, 82 years of age, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008. He was born October 16, 1925 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Cecil J. Park and the late Esther (Venable) Park. He married Marie (Sturm)Park on July 27, 1947. Hugh was a life time resident of Indianapolis, IN. He was a member of the West Newton Masonic Lodge #707 and also in the West Newton O.E.S. #489. Hugh was a Truck Driver for 35 years. He retired from Dohrn Transfer in Indianapolis, IN in 1985. He also worked at Decatur Central High School for 5 years. Currently, he delivered parts for Carquest for 11 years. Hugh is survived by his Wife, Marie (Sturm) Park of Indinapolis, IN; 1 Son, Don Park of Indianapolis, IN; 5 Grandchildren; and 4 Great Grandchildren. Hugh is also preceded in death by 2 Sons: Corporal Robert L. Park and James A. Park; and 1 Sister. Calling hours for Hugh will be from 3-8pm, Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 10:30am, Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Jones Famiy Mortuary. Hugh will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Greenwood, IN.
