Helen Holmes

Helen Louise Holmes, 88, of West Newton passed away Monday, March 13, 2006. She was born November 1, 1917 to the late Ellis Richmond and Laura (O'Brian) Richmond. She married Robert Russell Holmes who preceded her death. She was employed with the West Newton Elementary School for 10 years and also worked at Crane Naval Base for 4 years. She is survived by sons, Jerry Holmes of Cloverdale, IN, Scott Holmes of Avon, IN, Kenny Holmes of Camby, IN; grandchildren, Andrea, Scott, Deeanna and Brandon; great grandchildren, Tyler, Madelyn, Matthew, Maloree, Austin and Justus. Calling hours will be 4-8pm, Tuesday, March 14, 2006 with the funeral at 11am, Wednesday, March 15, 2006. Charles Paxton will be officiating the service. Both of the serives will be held at JONES FAMILY MORTUARY. Helen will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
