Helen L. Frost

Helen "Margie" Frost, 89, of Cloverdale, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 31, 2023. Helen was born in Monticello, KY on July 21, 1933 to the late Lonnie and Hattie (Daniel) Carter. She married the love of her life, Robert Frost in 1949. They were married 60 years!

Helen worked for Hawthorne Elementary School for 12 years. She was an eternal optimist, always seeing the good in everyone. She opened her home to many visitors, friends and family alike. She loved flower gardening and was an avid birdwatcher.

Helen is survived by her 6 children: Faye (James) Farris of Corbin, KY, Jeff (Justine) Frost of Cloverdale, Robert Joel Frost of Reelsville, Arlene (Michael) Fox of Mooresville, Marilyn Joan Middleton of Indianapolis and Jerry Frost of Rushville; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 7 great, great grandchildren; 3 brothers: James "Red" Carter, Ron "Cotton" Carter and Harlon Carter and 1 sister, Gaye Tucker.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and 3 brothers: Bennie, Tom and Jim Carter and 1 sister, Betty Stinson.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4-8 pm, Monday, April 3, 2023 with additional visitation from 11 am to 12 pm, Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. The celebration of life will be held at 12 pm, Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Funeral Home. Helen will be laid to rest in Hudson Hill Cemetery in Gosport, Indiana.
