Haskel T. "Hack" Thompson, 80 of Greenwood, IN passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2007. He was born November 17, 1926 in Hart County, KY to the late Chester L. and Mary (Butler) Thompson. Haskel married Norma (Teverbaugh) Thompson on August 6, 1949.
He has lived in Greenwood for 50 years and was a WWII Veteran. Before retiring in 1981, he was a Heavy Equipment Operator for Kopetsky Sand and Gravel in Indianapolis, IN for 40 years.
Haskel is survived by his Wife, Norma (Teverbaugh) Thompson of Greenwood, IN; 1 Brother, Clifton Thompson of Franklin, IN; 3 Sisters: Rhynetta Kite of Greenwood, IN, Delphia Harmon of Whiteland, IN, and Peggy Shelly of Franklin, IN; and Several Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 Sister, Betty Higginbothem and 1 Infant Brother.
Calling hours for Haskel will be from 4-8pm, Friday, March 9, 2007 and the Graveside service will be at 1:00pm Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the Doolittle Mills Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
