Harry Joseph (Jack) Shover, 75 of Indianapolis, IN passed away Friday, January 18, 2008. He was born February 23, 1932 in Mooresville, IN to the late James Roller and the late Margaret (Ludwig) Roller. He married Beverly (Moore) Shover on April 5, 1958.
Harry has lived in Indianapolis for most of his life and also in Mooresville for 1 year. He was a 1951 Decatur Central High School Graduate and was also a Veteran Military Policeman in the United States Air Force in the Korean War. He was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist and attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church. He was a 50 year member of Lynhurst Masonic Lodge #723 and member of the Corinthian Order of the Eastern Star #456. Harry was also an Inspector for Detroit Diesel Allison in Indianapolis, IN for 26 year before retiring in 1978.
Harry is survived by his Wife, Beverly Shover of Indianapolis, in; 3 Children: Marty Shover of Mooresville, IN, Teri Lents of Brownsburg, IN, and Jay Shover of Crestwood, KY. He is also preceded in death by his Father, James Roller.
Calling hours for Harry will be from 4-7pm, Sunday, January, 20, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary with a Masonic Service at 6:30pm. There will be a Graveside Service at 9:15am, Monday, January 21, 2008 at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN where he will be laid to rest. Following the Graveside Service there will be a Memorial Service at 1:30pm, Monday, January 21, 2008 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Michael Alexander will officiate the services.
