Harold Fuller, 86, of Statesville, NC, formerly of Mooresville, IN died Monday, July 1, 2013, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, NC.
He was born September 22, 1926, in Hardburly, KY, and was the son of the late Harlan and Florence Richie Fuller. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and was a retired assembly worker in the automotive industry. He enjoyed playing golf, softball and basketball as well as watching basketball and baseball. He especially enjoyed reading his Bible and spending time with his children and grandchildren. While in Statesville, he attended Landmark Church of God.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jean Fuller, whom he married on June 24, 1950; daughter, Londa Kay Fuller; son, Randy Harold Fuller; two brothers, Howard Fuller and Harlan Fuller, Jr.
He is survived by a son, Kevin (Cheryl) Fuller of Statesville; four grandchildren: Kari Rowley (Damien), Wendi Hense, Laura Fuller and Missy Fuller; six great-grandchildren; sister, Hazel Cornett of Milan, IN; and a brother, Sonny Fuller of Sunman, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. Burial will follow in West Newton Cemetery in West Newton, IN. Friends may call from 6-8 pm, Friday, July 5, 2013, and from 9-10 am Saturday at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN.
