Harold Estes

Harold W. Estes, 65 of Mooresville, IN passed away Monday, June 16, 2008. He was born October 25, 1942 in Bowling Green, KY to the late John Henry Estes and the late Elizabeth Mae (Butrum) Estes. Harold married Carolyn (Ballard) Estes of Mooresville, IN on December 31, 1966. Harold has lived in Mooresville, IN since 1956 and in Bowling Green, KY for 14 years. He was a 1961 Mooresville High School Graduate. Harold was a member of the Mooresville Lions Club and the Mooresville Fraternal Order of Eagles and he also loved to hunt and fish. He was a Parts Employee for Kenworth Trucking in Indianapolis, IN for 14 years and retired in 2008. Harold is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Ballard) Estes of Mooresville, IN; 1 Son, Mike (Susan) Estes of Camby, IN; 1 Daughter, Kim (Mel) Ridenour of Mooresville, IN; 4 Grandchildren: Derek, Justin, Meaghan, and Haley Ridenour; 1 Brother, Charles Estes of Bowling Green, KY; and 1 Sister, Wilma Smith of Kansas City, KS. He is also preceded in death by 2 Brothers, John and Bobby Gene Estes and 1 Sister, Lorrine Weaver. There will be calling for Harold from 4-8pm, Wednesday, June 18, 2008 and 10:30-11:30am, Thursday, June 19, 2008 all at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 11:30am, Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. Rev. Paul Scott and Bud Creech will officiate the service and Harold will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the ALS Foundation (Lou Gehrigs Disease).
