George Wright

George R. Wright, 74, formerly of Mooresville, died September 11, 2004 in Indianapolis, IN. He was a 1948 Mooresville High School Graduate. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He is a former Morgan County Committeeman and resided in Mooresville for over 40 years. He was an Intstrument Repairman for Detroit Diesel Allison in Indianapolis, IN for 36 years. After retiring, he and his wife moved to Tarpon Springs, Florida. He is survived by his spouse: Norma (Hargett) Wright of Tarpon Springs, FL; 3 Children: Michael Wright of Mary Esther, FL; Mark Wright of Westfield, IN; G. Ronald Wright of Mooresville, IN; 2 Step Children: Tammy Webster of Pendleton, IN; Anthony W. Jones of Indianapolis, IN; 16 Grandchildren, 1 Great Granddaughter; 2 Brothers: Kenneth Wright of Mooresville, IN; Donald Wright of Mooresville, IN. Visitation will be from 3-8pm September 14, 2004 at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral service will begin at 1:30pm on September 15,2004 at Jones Family Mortuary. Graveside Services will be at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Florida at a later date. Memorials: American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
