Gary Whittington

Gary W. Whittington, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2014. Gary was born to Norman & Fanchon (Latham) Whittington on October 4, 1953 in Terre Haute, IN. Gary was a 1971 Monrovia High School Graduate. For the past 17 years, he was a Tool & Cutter Grinder for Bob's Tool & Cutter Grinding in Indianapolis. He loved the outdoors and spending time with his dog, Shaggy. He has lived in Indianapolis since 1971 and 18 years in his birthplace of Monrovia. Gary is survived by his mother, Fanchon Whittington of Mooresville; two brothers, Kenneth A. (Becky) Whittington and Randy J. Whittington; a sister, Darla Kay Whittington; nieces, Mikinzie, Tranetta, Lillian and Charlotte and nephews, Thomas, Steven, Daniel, Keenan and Chad. Gary is preceded in death by his father, Norman Whittington and his dog, Jade. Family and friends may attend calling hours from 10-11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Warren Whittington will officiate the 11:30 a.m. celebration of life service on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary.
