Gary Stapleton

Gary L. Stapleton, 64, of Mooresville, died September 29, 2008. He was born on May 6, 1944 in Kokomo, IN to the late Cliff and Dorothy (Holler) Stapleton. He married Dottie (Whedon) Daniels on Novemeber 7, 1993 and she survives. Gary has lived in Mooresville, IN for 13 years, Indianapolis, IN for 29 years, and in New Castle, IN for 19 years. He is a 1962 Graduate of Chrysler Memorial High School and also a Graduate of Drake University Business College in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He also attended the Hazelton Christian Church. Gary was a member of the Circle City Corvette Club, Indiana Association of Realtors and an avid race fan. Friends and Family described Gary as a man who loved racing, his country, his friends, his wife, and was a great guy to spend time with. Currently, he was a Realtor for Carpenter Realtors in Mooresville, IN for the past 11 years. Previously, he was an International Sales Manager for Mallory Inc. in Indianapolis, IN for 34 years. Gary is survived by his Wife, Dottie, (Whedon) Daniels-Stapleton of Mooresville, IN; Step Son, Brent (Betty) Daniels of Mooresville, IN; 1 Step Grandson, Alan Daniels of Mooresville, IN; 1 Sister, Gayle Stapleton of Hoffman Estates, IL; Uncle, Harold Holler; and Cousin, April Sheffer. Calling hours for Gary will be from 4-8pm, Thursday, October 2, 2008 and from 10-11am, Friday, October 3, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 11am, Friday, October 3, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. Steve Ransom will officiate the service and Gary will be laid to rest at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Waverly, IN.
