Freda Malin

Freda F. Malin, 82, of Camby, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2013. Freda was born to Horatio and Mary (Hurt) Inman on January 21, 1931 in Odon, IN. Freda graduated from Barr Township High School in 1948. Freda married Jack L. Malin and he precedes her in death. Freda was a Clerk for Marsh Supermarket in Indianapolis, IN for 21 years, retiring in 1996. Previously, she worked for Indiana Bell Telephone for 15 years. She loved doing crossword puzzles and playing cards. She has lived in the Mooresville area most of her life. Freda is survived by her sister, Mabel Knight; a niece, Debbie Schlangen; a nephew, Greg Bollman and several great nieces and nephews. Freda is preceded in death by her parents, Horatio and Mary (Hurt) Inman and her husband, Jack L. Malin. Family and friends may attend calling hours from 3-8 p.m., Thursday, September 5, 2013 and from 9-10 a.m., Friday, September 6, 2013 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. Terry Crist will officiate the 10 a.m. celebration of life service on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Jones Family Mortuary. Freda will be laid to rest in Washington Park East.
