Frank B. Sliva Sr., 74, of Martinsville, passed away Saturday, December 19th, 2020. He was born August 25th, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to his parents, August "Gus" and Mary (Hudoba) Sliva, where he resided for 40 years. Frank has been a resident of Martinsville for the past 30 years. Frank is survived by his one son, Frank Sliva Jr. of Mooresville; two grandchildren: Mary Sliva of Mooresville and Frank Sliva III of Mooresville; one brother, Ray Sliva of Illinois; and one sister, Barbara Kasper of Illinois. Frank is preceded in death by his parents. Frank was a Tool and Die Maker for General Motors- Allison Transmission of Indianapolis for 33 years before retiring in 2009. He was a member of Saint Francis and Clare of Assisi in Greenwood. Frank enjoyed making knives, but had passion for collecting classic cars and motorcycles. Many would refer to Frank as a "stand-up" guy. Family and friends may show their love and support from 12 noon to 1pm on Saturday, December 26th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held following visitation at 1pm at the funeral home. Frank will be laid to rest at West Ridge Park in Indianapolis.
