Francis N. Wilson

Francis N. Wilson, 86, of Mooresville, passed away Wednesday, February 24th, 2021. She was born January 17th, 1935 in Liberty, Kentucky to her parents, Coy R. and Clara B. (Pelley) Wilson. She was married to the late Richard Sponsler. She was a resident of Mooresville for most of her life. Francis is survived by her daughter, Mary Roberts; two brothers: Larry and David Wilson; three sisters: Gloria Hanson, Nellie Pennington, and Barbara Weddle; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Francis is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Richard Sponsler; one son, Michael; two brothers: James and Sam; and one sister, Irene. Francis was a member of West Newton church. She loved playing music and singing. Francis had a passion for crocheting and gardening. Family and friends may show their love and support during a private graveside service at West Newton Cemetery where Francis will be laid to rest.
