Francis Lachmann

Francis X. "Bud" Lachmann, 73, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 29, 2014. He was born on Aug. 12, 1941 in Cincinnati, OH. Bud was a graduate of Xavier University. Survivors include wife Pat (Emmert) Lachmann, sons Eric and David (Hope) and their children Cassie and Courtney. Also surviving is step-daughter Debbie (Brian) Campbell; step-grandchildren Gabbie, Brady and Cooper; two brothers, Jim (Judy) and Phillip (Missy); two sisters, Melissa (Matt) Brock and Reverend Terri (Paul) Wayman and the mother of his children, Sharon R. Courtney. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Jospeh and Vella Ruth (Courtney) Lachmann; a sister, Carla Victor and two grandchildren, Jessica Nicole and Matthew Scott. The funeral service will be on October 3, 2014 at 11 a.m., with calling from 4-8 p.m., October 2, 2014 and 10-11 a.m., Oct. 3, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Bud will be laid to rest in Fairfield Cemetery, Camby. A very special "thank you" to the IU Hospice team of Caleen, Molly and Alan.
