Frances George

Frances Maxine George, 77 of Mooresville, IN passed away Sunday, July 20, 2008. She was born December 16, 1930 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Jessie and Julia (Curl) Harris. She was previously married to the late Chelsia Jones. She married Richard E. George on February 4, 1966. Frances has lived in Mooresville, IN for the past 20 years, Brown County, IN for 39 years, and in Indianapolis, IN for 18 years. She was a member of the Mooresville Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses and love Bible reading, crossword puzzles, and friends and family. Frances was also a Homemaker. She is survived by her Husband, Richard E. George; 4 Children: Jerry Jones of Marshville, NC, Richard Jones of Terre Haute, IN, Frank Jones of Nashville, IN, and Jan Henson of Mooresville, IN; 14 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; 3 Brothers: Danny Harris of Marshill, IN, Dallas Harris of Indianapolis, IN, and Michael Harris of Bloomington, IN; 6 Sisters: Norma Elliott of Conyers, GA, Joyce Yoder of Mooresville, IN, Judy Gibson of Mooresville, IN, Beverly Barnes of Camby, IN, Margaret Henson of Mooresville, IN, and Linda Butler of Bedford, IN. She is also preceded in death by her Previous Spouse, Chelsia Jones whom she married on December 16, 1948; 1 Son, Kenneth Jones; and 4 Brothers: Richard, Jesse, Charles, and Robert Harris. Calling hours for Frances will be from 2-8pm, Wednesday, July 23, 2008 and 9-10am, Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 10am, Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary with Steve Stover to officiate. Frances will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN.
