Foster Williams

Foster F. Williams, 91, of Indianapolis, died on Monday, September 18, 2006. He previously lived in West Newton for fifty years. Before retiring in 1975, he was a Checker on Shipping Dock for Bridgport Brass in Indianapolis for thirty-four years. He was a member of West Newton United Methodist Church, as well as West Newton Masonic Lodge #707. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth L (Medsker) Williams, whom he married on October 29, 1939; parents, Wesley W. and Mollie Williams; four sisters: Dorothy McMullen, Bertha Johnson, Christina Williams, and Mabel Kisner. Survivors include his daughter, Lynda K. Smock of Indianapolis; and two grandsons, Todd and Scott VanBuskirk. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Friday, September 22, 2006 in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville, where friends may call from 4-8pm, Thursday, September 21, 2006. He will be buried in West Newton Cemetery, West Newton.
