Floyd Patterson

Floyd Patterson, 78, of Florida passed away June 13, 2006. He was born January 26, 1928 in Erose, KY and married Amy Patterson on August 28, 1950. Floyd was in the Army in WWII. He worked as a Tool and Die Maker for Allisons in Indianapolis for 34 years before retiring in 1992. He was also a member of the Good Shepard Baptist Church in Mooresville. Floyd was survived by 3 Daughters: Jenny (Dan) Smielewski of St. Cloud, FL, Debbie (Harald) Sturgill of St. Cloud, Fl, Brenda (Jerry) Williamson of Mooresville, IN; 2 Sons: Rich (Gena) Of Martinsville, IN and Mike (Lula) Patterson of Oakland, CA; 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Calling hours are from 4-8pm, Friday, June 16, 2006 and the funeral service will begin at 10am, Saturday June 17, 2006 both at JONES FAMILY MORTUARY. Everett Barnard will be officiating the service. Floyd will be buried at Nebo Cemetery in Martinsville.
