Floyd Davee

Floyd Davee, 81 years of age passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2009. He was born December 2, 1927 in Mahalasville, IN to the late Roy and Sadie (Smith) Davee. He married Sandra (Stainbrook) Davee of Mooresville, IN on September 27, 1957. Floyd lived in Mooresville, IN for 71 years and in Mahalasville, IN for 10 years. He was a 1945 Mooresville High School Graduate and was an United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was also a member of the Bargersville First Christain Church. Floyd was a Grain and Cattle Farmer for 25 years and was also a Grain Blender for Indiana Grain in Indianapolis, IN for 22 years, retiring in 1990. He is survived by his Wife, Sandra (Stainbrook) Davee of Mooresville, IN; 2 Children: Ruth (Scott) Larsen of Mooresville, IN and Larry Davee of Indianapolis, IN; 2 Grandchildren, Caitlin Summers of Mooresville, IN and Keri Larsen of Speedway, IN; 2 Brothers, Dale and William Davee of Mooresville, IN; and 2 Sisters, Mary Trobaugh of Texas and Martha Roska of Washington. He is also preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Maurice, Johnny, and Lowell "Ted" Davee. Calling hours for Floyd will be from 4-8pm, Friday, August 28, 2009 and from 9-10am, Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. The Funeral will be at 10am, Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. Roger Gifford will officiate the service and Floyd will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
