Fern Bryant

Fern (Swinney) Bryant, 84, passed away May 30, 2005. Originally from Missouri, she married James Edgar Swinney in 1937 and moved to Mooreville. He precedes her in death. She moved to Bethany Village Assisted Living in Indianapolis in 2000. She worked at Kelly's Restaurant, Smitherman's Hatchery, and Mooresville IGA. She is a member of Mooresville Senior Citizens Center. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3, 2005 at 11am with calling 10am-11am at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, with calling from 3-8pm, Thursday, June 2, 2005. Burial will be at West Newton Cemetery. She is Survived by daughters: June (Tom) Haverfield of Florida, Louise (Dan) Robinson of Mooresville, Jessica (Ken) Greene of Texas, Melinda (George) Cooper of Indianapolis, several grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. A son, James Edgar, Jr., daughters Betty Jean and Rita Faye, and two grandsons precede her in death. She is also survived by a brother, Roy Gottlob and a sister Geraldine Dunn, both of Missouri. Parents Joe and Jesse Gottlob, brother Bobby, and sisters Jewell, Freda May, Margaret Valentine, and Sis proceed her in death. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mooresville Senior Citizens.
