Ethel Froud

Ethel (McWhirter) Froud, 89, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 18, 2015. She was born to Robert and Martha Jane (Wilson) McWhirter on July 6, 1926 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She married Robert Brian Froud on July 19, 1958.

Ethel was a homemaker. She volunteered at St. Rose DeLima for 30 years and at the Senior Citizens Center, both in Henderson, NV. She lived in Mooresville for a short time and Henderson, NV in 31 years.

Ethel is survived by two daughters, Suzanne (Stephen) Whicker of Camby, Jane (Bob) Grilli of Mokena, IL; six grandchildren, Brian, Amanda Jane, Tommy, Amanda Marie, Bobby, Stephen; and a nephew, Alan Ritchie of Belfast, Northern Ireland. Ethel is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Elsie Stewart and Lillian Ritchie.

There will not be any formal service for Ethel Froud. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
