Elnora Jaynes

Elnora E. Jaynes, 89 years of age passed away Friday, June 25, 2010. She was born February 21, 1921 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Carl G. and Esther (Carlson) Agnew. Elnora married the late Kenneth Woodrow Jaynes on March 7, 1942. She lived in Mooresville, IN for 5 years; Indianapolis, IN for most of her life; and in Brownsburg, IN for 35 years. Elnora was a 1939 George Washington High School Graduate and also attended Grace Church in Mooresville, IN. She enjoyed floral arranging, was an avid golfer in her time, and was a member of the Westside Homemakers Club. She worked as an Office Manager for Kenneth W. Jaynes Plumbing in Indianapolis, IN for several years. Elnora is survived by 4 Children: Karen (Chuck) Huter of Mooresville, IN, David (Cinda) Jaynes of Brownsburg, IN, Jenny (Tom) Reeves of AZ, and Jeffrey (Shirley) Jaynes of Indianapolis, IN; Grandchildren: Julie Bunch, Scott and Ben Huter, Darren and Brett Jaynes; 9 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Brother, Donald Agnew of Indianapolis, IN. She is also preceded in death by 1 Sister, Helen Tackitt. There will be calling hours for Elnora from 4-8pm, Monday, June 28, 2010 and also 1 hour prior to the service at Jones Family Mortuary. The Funeral Service will be at 10:30am, Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Jones Family Mortuary. Gary Mullenix will officiate the service and Elnora will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to Grace Church in Mooresville, IN.
