Ella Johnson

Ella M. Johnson, 78 years of age passed away Monday, September 10, 2007. She was born December 20, 1928 in New York City, NY to the late William Heise and the late Metta (Meinke) Heise. Ella married the late Claude R. Johnson on May 13, 1950. Ella has lived in Camby, IN for 41 years and was a member of the Way of the Cross Baptist Church in Camby, IN. She was a Volunteer at St. Francis Hospital in Mooresville, IN and she loved to sew and play Bunco. Ella was a Homemaker. Ella is survived by 3 Children: Linda Burzlaff of Indianapolis, IN, Steve Johnson of Mooresville, IN, and Julie Pierce of Camby, IN; 4 Grandchildren; 1 Brother, Richard Heise of New York; and 1 Sister, Marie Scanze of Florida. Ella is also preceded in death by 1 Brother, William Heise. Ella's calling hours will be from 3-7pm, Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Jones Family Mortuary. The service is private. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
