Elizabeth Watkins, 92, of Mooresville, went to be with the Lord on August 27, 2019 as she was surrounded by the comfort of her family. Elizabeth was born on April 6, 1927 to the late Adolph and Ida (Gilland) Mosby in Petersburg, IN. Elizabeth worked for Thiesing Veneer for five years in Mooresville, IN; loved to shop; and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Robert) Castillo-Soto; step-son, Don (Deanna) Watkins; seven grandchildren: Tim (Kay), Rhonda (Jack), Buddy, Darryl (Linda), Jayme (Leah), Chasadee (Elwood) and Maleigha (Manuel); several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a brother Joe Mosby. She is also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Tyler; great granddaughter, Alisha; four sisters and four brothers. Family and friends may show their love and support from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Jones Family Mortuary. Ken Hayden will officiate the celebration of life service following the visitation at 3 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Elizabeth will be laid to rest in Mooresville Cemetery.
