Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor, 92, of Mooresville, IN, died August 10, 2011. Elizabeth was born to Melvin & Ada (King) Atwood on January 8, 1919 in Liberty, KY. She married Fred Taylor on May 29, 1943. She worked at Automotive Armature in Mooresville, IN for 44 years. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She loved sewing, gardening and quilting. She lived in Mooresville, IN for 52 years and her birthplace of Liberty, KY for 39 years. Elizabeth is survived by 3 children, Phyllis Bain of Mooresville, IN, Fred Taylor of Mooresville, IN and Jerry Taylor of Mooresville, IN; 10 grandchildren & 18 great grandchildren. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin & Ada (King) Atwood; husband, Fred Taylor; twin sons, Lonnie & Donnie Taylor; 2 brothers, Omer & Clyde Atwood; 2 sisters, Elva Lynn & Velma Palmer. Calling will be from 2-8pm, Sunday, August 14, 2011 and 9-10am, Monday, August 15, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. There will be a 10am funeral service on Monday, August 15, 2011. Elizabeth will be laid to rest at Mooresville Cemetery.
