Elizabeth Fleming

Elizabeth J. Fleming, 87, of Ellettsville, went to be with the Lord on December 20, 2019. Elizabeth was born to B.D. and Ela (Riley) Fleming on February 16, 1932 in Gary. Elizabeth is survived by a loving daughter, Elaine (Jay) Hackett of Camby; four loving grandchildren, Emily, Amy, Jeffrey and Jason. She is preceded in death by her parents. Elizabeth was a Proof Reader for Metropolitan Printing Company in Bloomington for 15 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Ellettsville. For the past several years, she volunteered at Area 10 Agency on Aging in Ellettsville. She had lived in Monroe County since 1970. She enjoyed all needle work but her favorite was knitting. Elizabeth's wish was to have a simple, private family green burial at White Oak Cemetery in Bloomington.
