Edward Kays

Edward Kays, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, February 9th, 2025. He was born December 16th, 1958 in Indianapolis to his parents Larry Vernon and Alberta (Willoughby) Kays.

Edward is survived by his son, Shane E. Kays (Bobbie Wilson) of Indianapolis; his daughter, Chianne N. Cather (James) of Indianapolis; two grandchildren: Madisyn N. Challis of Indianapolis and Adilynn N. Cather of Indianapolis; and long time girlfriend, Linda Beanblossom.

Edward is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Edward was a 1977 graduate of Decatur Central High School.

Edward will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery in West Newton during private burial services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service.
