Edward Christian

Edward Christian, 75 years old passed away Friday, September 12, 2008 at his home with his Caregiver, Rhonda Christian. He was born April 15, 1933 in Lee County, VA to the late Hiram P. Christian and the late Seley (Harless) Christian. He married the late Rebecca Ann (Willis) Christian on August 23, 1952. Edward lived in Camby, IN for most of his life. He was a Forklift Driver for Olin Brass in Indianapolis, IN for 37 years, retiring in 1998. Edward is survived by James (Sharon) Christian of Martinsville, IN; 3 Grandsons: Jamie A. Seiler of Paragon, IN, Dusty C. Seiler of Martinsville, IN, and Nicky J. Malott of Mooresville, IN; 1 Sister, Thelma Hammons of Mooresville, IN; 1 Brother, Jimmy R. Christian of Virginia; and Caregiver, Rhonda Christian of Camby, IN. He is also preceded in death by 1 Sister, Mattie Fannon; and 5 Brothers: Johnny, Hubert, Amos, Jesse, and Jake Christian. Calling hours for Edward will be from 4-8pm, Monday, September 15, 2008 and 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 1pm, Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary with Frank Goodwin to officiate. Edward will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
