Edward Banas

Edward Banas, 76, passed away Saturday, April 30, in Hockenssin, Delaware, where he resided with his daughter for the past 4 years. Edward was born in Syracuse, N.Y. and served in the Army's Air Force during World War II. He was retired from Kipp Bros. in Indianapolis. Edward was a life member of the American Legion, Post 103, in Mooresville, IN and the VFW, Post 5892, in Hockessin, DE. Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Jacquelyn Banas, and a brother and sister, Richard Banas and Alice Thomas. Edward is survived by his daughter, Patricia (Jonni)McDonald, sister, Evelyn Okuszki, nephew, Michael P. Oskuszki, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Jones Family Mortuary on Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 1pm. Friends may call 1 hour prior to service.
