Edgar Marr

Edgar "Eddie" Marr Jr., 76, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, November 15th, 2023. He was born September 18th, 1947 in Indianapolis to his parents Edgar Marr Sr. and Violet Louise (Davis) Marr. He married Frank A. Paulis on September 18th, 2016.

Eddie is survived by his partner, Frank A. Paulis of Indianapolis; one brother, Jeffrey Marr of Trafalgar; one niece, Jennifer Marr of Indianapolis; one nephew, Joshua Marr (Susan) of Germany; and one great nephew, Karl Marr. Eddie is preceded in death by both of his parents; and two brothers: James S. and Paul R. Marr.

Eddie was a graduate of Decatur Central High School. Following high school, Eddie joined the Navy and served in Vietnam. He discharged in 1972. Eddie was a Hairstylist and owner and operator of Eddie's Place located in Indianapolis for five years. He built and maintained his garden train. Eddie was known to have a wonderful sense of humor, to be very kind, and had many friends.

A memorial gathering will be held from 3 to 5 pm on Friday, December 1st at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Eddie will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery in West Newton. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
