Duane C. Davis

Duane C. Davis, 66, of Mooresville, Indiana passed away Thursday, December 7th, 2023. He was born in 1957 in Indianapolis to his parents Robert and Rosalyn (Meyer) Davis. He married Mary Jo (Janney) in 1995.

Duane is survived by his wife, Mary Jo (Janney) Davis of Mooresville; found family, Andrew and Francesca and eight grandchildren; and two sisters: Marina Davis and Andrea (Michael) Ingles. He is preceded in death by both of his parents.

Duane was a 1975 graduate of Mooresville High School. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Music from Indiana Central. Duane later joined the United States Marine Corps. He was a Mechanic in the motorcycle industry and was the owner and operator of Big D's Hog Barn in Mooresville. Duane was a member of the Mooresville Masonic Lodge #78, Scottish Rite, Indianapolis Murat Shrine, HOG, ABATE, and AMA. He enjoyed riding his Harley with his wife and friends, traveling through 49 different states and all Canadian Provinces with roads. Duane was an avid reader and loved spending time with his friends. He liked collecting all sorts of things. Duane was loyal to those he loved and did not 'suffer fools gladly.'

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
