Dottie Daniels Stapleton, 72, of Mooresville, went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2016. Dottie was born to Parker Whedon and Betty Jean (Walters) Whedon Breen on January 14, 1944 in Charlotte, NC. She graduated from Arsenal Tech High School in 1962.

For the past 20 years, Dottie has been a Realtor with Carpenter Realtors in Mooresville. She is a member of Hazelwood Christian Church and Red Hat Society. She was involved with the Corvette Club and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She lived in Mooresville for most of her life.

Dottie is survived by a son, Brent (Betty) Daniels of Mooresville; and a grandson, Alan Daniels of Mooresville. Dottie is preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Brad L. Daniels.

Family and friends may gather from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Pastor Steve Ranson will officiate Dottie's celebration of life memorial service at 7 p.m. on July 7, 2016 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center.
