Doris A. Jones, 84, of Mooresville, IN, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2012. Doris was born to the late Maurice W. & Lela M. (Dowden) Frazier on July 7, 1928 in Bridgeport, IN. Doris graduated from Decatur Central High School in 1945, where she was a class officer and cheerleader. Doris married Charles F. Jones on October 11, 1945. For more than 45 years, Doris was a Partner & Secretary of Charles F. Jones Enterprises, Inc. Doris was also very involved in the family business, Jones Family Mortuary, where she was a previous Owner, Officer and Secretary for more than 30 years. Doris lived in Decatur Township for most of her life, while living in Mooresville, IN in her later years. Doris considered everyone she met a friend and loved her family with all of her heart. Doris is survived by 6 children, Ronald F. Jones of WI, Kathy L. Cobb of Mooresville, IN, Deborah E. Radziunas of Greenwood, IN, Jeffrey K. Jones of Camby, IN, Toni C. Jones of CO & Jennifer L. Jones of Avon, IN; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandson; 2 sisters, Margaret Elliott of Bowling Green, IN & Dorothy Stephens of Indianapolis, IN. Doris is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles F. Jones and a sister, Mary Gaines. Calling hours for Doris will be from 2-8 pm, Wednesday, November 28, 2012 & 9:30-10:30 am, Thurs. November 29, 2012 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville, IN. A celebration of life service will be at 10:30 am, Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center. Doris will be laid to rest in Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
