Donna Sue (Jackson) Overton

Donna Sue (Jackson) Overton, 71, of Mooresville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025. Born on December 17, 1953, Donna was the daughter of the late James Wymond Jackson Sr. of Indianapolis and Shirley Jackson of Mooresville.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Gail E. Scott of Mooresville.

Donna is survived by her loving sons, Jason Overton (Patti) of Mooresville, Jacob Overton (Jenny) of Terre Haute, and Jarod Overton of Mooresville; her brothers, James Jackson Jr. (Robin) of Palm Beach, Florida, and Frank Jackson (Lisa) of Creswell, North Carolina; and four grandchildren who brought her great joy - Matthew, Haley, A.J., and Lucas. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Donna had a lifelong love of gardening and caring for her many houseplants. She cherished time spent with her family, her beloved dogs Peyton and Roxi, and her dear friend and neighbor, Lou Ann Burnett, whose friendship was a constant source of comfort and laughter.

In keeping with Donna's wishes, there will be no formal services. A private burial will take place at a later date.

Those who knew Donna will remember her for her quiet strength and the deep love she had for her family and home.
