Donna Kibbey-Gibbs

Donna L. Kibbey-Gibbs, 72, of Indianapolis, IN died on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 in her home. She was born on March 7, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Roy E. McGowen Sr. and Delilah I. (Vansickle) McGowen. She was married to Lonny Gibbs of Indianapolis, IN. She was previously married to Herbert Palmer Kibbey who survives. Donna lived most of her life in Indianapolis, IN and 20 years in Monrovia, IN. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and working on crafts. She was a 1976 graduate of Monrovia High School. She is survived by her husband Lonny Gibbs of Indianapolis, IN;1 daughter Audrey Hancock of Indianapolis, IN; 3 sons: Lee Roy Kibbey of Indianapolis, IN, Keith Kibbey of Indianapolis, IN, and Scott Kibbey of Monrovia, IN; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded by 1 daughter Kassandra Kibbey; 1 great grandson Jacob Kibbey; 1 sister Caroline Bowers; 5 brothers: Bob, Don Roy E. Jr, Pat, and Bill McGowen. Visiting hours are 4-8pm, Friday, June 27, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. Funeral services are 10am, Saturday, June 28, 2008 also at Jones Family Mortuary with Pastor Jeff Newton officiating. Cremation will follow.
