Donna J. Bauer

Donna J. (Coyle) Bauer, 78, of Mooresville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 2, 2015. She was born to Gilbert A. Coyle and Evelyn (Condry) Ludlow on August 16, 1937 in Indianapolis. She was a 1955 Broad Ripple High School graduate. She married Dave Bauer on November 2, 1956. Donna was a bank teller for Citizens Bank for 10 years. She was a member of Monrovia Christian Church, Past Worthy Matron of Monrovia Order of Eastern Star #580 and member of local euchre club for 40 years. She enjoyed sports, reading and cooking. She lived in Mooresville since 1964 and her birthplace of Indianapolis for 27 years. Donna is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dave Bauer of Mooresville; four children, Joe (Alison) Bauer of Pittsboro, Kim (Mark) Hill of Mooresville, Connie Brady of Mooresville, Cara (Mike) Kale of Greenwood; seven grandchildren; a sister, Vicki Kaufmann; and a brother, Butch Coyle. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert A. Coyle and Evelyn Ludlow; stepfather, Clyde Ludlow; sister, Duretta Schaller; and a grandson, Colin Hill. Family and friends may gather from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2015 and 9-10 a.m., Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Mark Hill will officiate Donna's celebration of life service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary. Donna will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
