Donald Lee Keen went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2006. He will be dearly missed. He was born on September 23, 1937 in Galliton, Tennessee to Hules Keen and Alma Marie Parker Keen.
In 1954 he opened Don Keen Transmission and retired in 1998. He worked as the maintanence man at Dobbs House for twenty-five years.
He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Frances Wilson. He has one surviving sibling, a brother, Erbie Dee Keen of Conway, South Carolina. He leaves behind a wife, Wilda Dean Keen, of Mooresville, five children: Hules Lee Keen of Beaufort North Carolina, Terri Lee Parks of Bargersville, Beverly Ann Cash of Lafyette, Ronald Lee Street of Mooresville, and Randell Dean Street of Mooresville. He also left behind five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
There will be visiting hours from 2-8pm on Monday, July 31, 2006 with a Masonic Service starting at 7:30pm at Jones Family Mortuary. Funeral Services are at 10am on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 also at Jones Family Mortuary. J.R. Gibson will be officiating the service.
