Don E. Hancock, 65, of Camby, died in his home on Friday, February 3, 2012. Don was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 13, 1946 to John E. and Doris Evelyn (Anglin) Hancock. Don married Karen (Skinner) Hancock on March 4, 1970. Don lived most of his life in Indianapolis, 8 years in Martinsville and 23 years in Camby. Don was a 1965 graduate of Decatur Central High School and was a US Navy Viet Nam War Vet. Don was an Inspector for Detroit Diesel Allison Division for 31 years before retiring in 1996 and also worked 10 years for Federal Express as a truck driver before retiring in 2008. Don attended Camby Community Church and was a member of UAW Local #933. Don is survived by his wife; 2 children: Seth Jason (Lisa) Hancock of California and Erica (Doug) Seagrave of Carmel; 2 grandsons: Morgan and Jackson Seagrave; Mother, Evelyn Hancock; Sister, Carol Hancock Thompson and also several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Don was preceded in death by his father and 1 brother, Bob Hancock. There will be a memorial service held at 6pm, Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Camby Community Church with Charlie Paxton officiating. Calling hours will be 3-6pm, Tuesday, February, 7, 2012 also at Camby Community Church. Arrangement are being handled by Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville.
