Dolores (Hinkle)

Dolores Joanne Allen, 73, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2006. She was born October 13, 1932 in West Phalia, IN to the late Earl Hinkle and the late Lucile (Wampler) Marksbary. She was married to the late Dick Lee Allen in 1957. She lived in Indianapolis for 20 years, Bloomington for 15 years, Springfield, Illinois for 7 years and she was a Bloomington High School graduate in 1950. She was a snackbar Clerk for Heartland Crossing Golf Course in Camby, IN for 6 years, she worked at Riley Hospital in Indianapolis for 7 years, and she was a Stock Clerk for Ames in Indianapolis for 5 years. She is survived by 8 children: Dan and Dee Young of Indianapolis, Ceil Western of Whitestown, IN, Donna Ghriseli of AZ, John Allen and Teresa Griswell and Charles Allen of Indianapolis and Avis Allen of IA; 3 step children: Dennis Allen of Kokomo, IN, Paul and Mary Allen of Indianapolis; several Grandchilren and Great Grandchildren; 4 sisters: Loueva Young of Camby, IN, Shirley Marksbary of Indianapolis, IN, Wilma Chambers of Bloomington, IN, Marcia Cannon of FL; she is also survived by a brother, Homer Hinkle of Camby, IN. Calling hours will be 2-8pm, Friday March 10, 2006 with the Funeral being at 10am Saturday morning, March 11, 2006 both at JONES FAMILY MORTUARY. Ronald Willis will be officiating the service. Joanne Allen will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
