Dolly L. Mask

Dolly L. (Cravens) Mask, 90, of Camby, passed away Monday, August 5th, 2024. She was born November 25th, 1933, in Cravenstown, Tennessee to her parents Delmer D. and Dorothy E. (Sells) Cravens, where she lived for 18 years. She married the late Clyde L. Mask on July 5th, 1952, spending 72 beautiful years together before his recent passing. She was a previous resident of Indianapolis for 56 years and a resident of Camby since 2008.

Dolly is survived by her three loving children: Donny Mask (Susan) of Mooresville, Donna Young of Mooresville, and Les Mask of Camby; daughter in law, Cindy Mask; thirteen grandchildren: Bobby Mask, Michelle Robertson, Rhonda Adamson, Timothy Weesner, Jennifer Swinney, Donald Young, Jeremy Young, Brandon Mask, Christopher Mask, Jared York, Ja'Juan Mask, Ashley Tipton and Sarah Clem; 29 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Jim Cravens; and two sisters: Judy Scott and Carolyn Scruggs.

Dolly is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Clyde L. Mask; one son, Ronnie Mask; four brothers: Jay Cravens, Birdie Cravens, Willis Cravens, and Perry Cravens; and sister, Patsie Cravens.

Dolly worked as a Cafeteria Cook at Valley Mills Elementary School for 23 years before retiring in 1996. She was a member a West Newton Full Gospel Tabernacle currently known as West Newton Worship and Youth Center, where she volunteered her time as a Sunday School teacher for 35 years. Dolly enjoyed cooking, reading the bible, babysitting and spending her time with her grandchildren and family. She was known by many to be a loving, caring, and patient mother and mamaw.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, August 8th and from 10 to 11 am on Friday, August 9th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 9th following visitation at the funeral home. Dolly will be laid to rest next to her husband, Clyde at West Newton Cemetery in West Newton.
