Dick Clark Hightshue

Dick Clark Hightshue, 68, of Plainfield, passed away Saturday, January 21st, 2023. He was born December 3rd, 1954 in Indianapolis to his parents Charles Russell and Ruth Lily (Faulk) Hightshue. He was a resident of Mooresville for most of his life.

Dick is survived by his two children: Jimey (Kristi) Hightshue of Plainfield and Luke (Julie) Hightshue of Arizona; eight grandchildren: Brianna, Kayli, Diamond, Logan T., Phoenix, Kaylinn, Logan, and Lynae; one great grandson, Brixton; one sister, Dorothy; and one brother, Danny (Mary Ann). Dick is preceded in death by both of his parents; and one brother, David.

Dick was a 1973 graduate of Mooresville High School. He was a Union Plumber for Local 440 Plumbers and Steamfitters. Dick attended Church of the Crossing in Indianapolis. He was known by many as a stubborn man. Dick enjoyed spending time with his best friend Lucky, his Shitzu. He loved to go camping. Traveling and going on cruises was where he was the happiest.

Family and friends may show their love and support at the Memorial Gathering from 4 to 8 pm on Wednesday, February 1st at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Dick will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis at a later date.
